For those who wish to take (A)"Inspection Tour Course" or (B)"Tour & Tasting Course" at Gakkogura

Gakkogura is not open to the public except during the hours of the Gakkogura Cafe (Wed-Sat, 11:00~16:00, subject to change during winter). Half of the facility is open to the public during cafe hours, but the other half, including the brewery, is closed to the public.
To request an overall inspection tour including the brewery, or to request a tour + Sake Tasting, please follow the procedures below.
Please note that there is a charge for this service.
*Please note that even if we receive your application, we may not always be able to accommodate you due to the time and/or date of the event.
Please use the parking space for your car. When using the site with large or medium-sized buses please consult with the bus company, etc. in advance due to the narrow width of the road.

A) Gakkogura Inspection Tour Course

Outline: Our staff will explain the origins and operation of the Gakko Kura, showing you the role of each area and the brewery.
Time required: 30 minutes to 1 hour
Inspection tour fee: 10,000 yen (minimum fee) for up to 5 persons; +2,000 yen (tax included) per person for 6 or more persons. Souvenirs included.
*If you wish to have your souvenirs delivered, additional shipping charges will apply.

B) the Gakkogura Tour & Sake Tasting Course

Outline: Our staff will guide you through the origins and operations of the school brewery, the role of each area, and the brewery, followed by a Sake Tasting of 5-6 different sakes.
Time required: 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes
Tour & Sake Tasting Fee: 12,000 yen (minimum fee) for up to 4 people; +3,000 yen per person for 5 or more people (tax included). Souvenirs are not included.

Note: For those who cannot do Tasting, a glass of soft drink will be served separately.
